Let me tell you a story. It's a good story. And like every story, this too has a beginning, middle, and an end, and like every story, this too is about a story of transformation.
Remember the good old days of school? I grew up in a village and we had one school for the entire village. The buildings and the walls were scratched to look like a scene from a horror movie, with tin-roof four walls and a skeleton number of benches. Through the window, we could see the villagers grazing their cows and tending to their farms.
From a place like that, the only peephole to teleport your mind to the world out there was through the books. But there it was normal not to go to school and rather work in the fields.
We have come a long way to bring the world together. A significant leap was the internet. Now everyone from across the world has access to the same information as everyone else. But it also has its perils, for the algorithm and content decide who gets to see what.
Today, many countries offer free education and at the same time, many skyrocket their ticket price, excluding people from the very right of education. Still, many have access to resources that others could dream of having a piece of.
Despite its diversions, the world of education is going in the right direction and we are the catalyst for this movement.
Imagine a world where everyone has access to education despite the color of their skin, the neighborhood they grew up in, and their financial means. A world where a child from the village can dream big. A world where Everyone has the right to education.
That's the world Orbit wants to create.
